And the renovations continue!!!!!

I am amazed at how quickly they can tear things down and build them back! It has been so fun watching the work come so far! The builders have been busy framing the changes to the house. Here are pictures of all that has been done since demo!

We had many trees removed and the ivy and moss dug up.

Now we are waiting on the sod!

The wall came down to open up the kitchen space.

The Hoover House: For REAL!!!!!

For those of you who are unaware, Bill and I have been blessed with the opportunity to buy his Grandma's house. This house is a house I have loved for a long time, and you can imagine the love his family has for this home. Not only is this house a perfect space for our family, it is in the perfect neighborhood, on the perfect street for our family. However, this house was built in 1970 and is pretty much original throughout, well until about 4 weeks ago!!!! We are more than excited to breathe new life into this wonderful house that is already so full of amazing memories! So many of you have asked how the renovation is going and if I have any pictures. Well here they are!

*Disclaimer: I do NOT have a way with words, so if you are looking for clever, cutesy thoughts instead of just pictures, be prepared to be disappointed :)

Kylie's First Day!

Well, Kylie is sitting in her Kindergarten class right now! I am so excited for her! This morning went pretty smoothly considering we had to wake her up to get ready in time. She is usually up bright and early, but today she decided she would sleep until after 7! She loved getting ready and asked her daddy not to come upstairs until she was completely dressed! She loves to surprise him with how pretty and fancy she looks!
We arrived at her school and she was so excited to start her day! She walked in and hung her backpack in her cubby. She then walked over and picked out her name tag. Went to find her table and started playing. I was so proud of the way she went about the room as if she has been doing everyday! She is so independent, and I love that (most of the time anyway). I was so proud of myself for keeping it together, in the classroom anyway :)! She gave Bill and I a big hug and kiss and we were gone! That was a tough walk down the sidewalk to the car, but I have great relief in knowing that she is in a safe, loving environment. So here are the pictures from this morning and a couple from yesterday when she met her teachers. I hope you enjoy!

As you can tell she was super excited!
